I learned about some ridiculous DRAMA! recently over the Ć¢ā‚¬Å“stealingĆ¢ā‚¬Ā of ideas in fanfic and my partner in crime, , has written up a Ć¢ā‚¬Å“fanworks licenseĆ¢ā‚¬Ā for her works. Since IĆ¢ā‚¬ā„¢ve had people ask about creating derivative works of my fanfics, IĆ¢ā‚¬ā„¢d also like to clarify my stance on the issue by shamelessly plagiarizing borrowing JunoĆ¢ā‚¬ā„¢s text to apply to my own works (with some modifications).

Title: Merciful Advice
Author: Aranel Took
Fandom: DC Comics: Green Lantern
Challenge/Prompt: : mixing work and pleasure
Claim: Hal Jordan/Kyle Rayner
Characters: Hal Jordan (The Spectre), Sister Clarice (The Radiant)
Rating: G
Words: 685
Summary: After initially telling him they wouldn’t see each other again, why did the The Spectre help Kyle so much?
Author’s Notes: Probably a bit of a stretch as far as the prompt is concerned, but this is what the Muses handed me. šŸ˜‰ This is set some time after Green Lantern #119, after Hal becomes The Spectre and has his (supposedly) last meeting with Kyle. I don’t remember if an actual date of death was given for Sister Clarice, so I’m using poetic license to set it around this time frame. Many thanks to my beta reader, !

Well, I have a WordPress blog going at http://aranel-took.fancrone.net now. The crossposting plug-in pointed me to works great! As you may have noticed earlier, it allows me to spam all of my journals at LiveJournal, Dreamwidth and InsaneJournal all at the same time. Which will make posting stories so much easier! Just have to do it once!

Now I just have to finish some stories… šŸ˜‰

I’ve done some housecleaning on my domains. This is now a central site to links to all of my fanfic is all fandoms. My Lord of the Rings Fanfiction Site has moved to a database driven site at http://ivyverse.fancrone.net. It’s still a Work In Progress, as far as getting the stories into the database, but the site is up and running.

My DC Comics Fanfiction is still at Sector 2814.

This blog is also a Work in Progress, as I figure out themes and plug-ins. I will attempt to crosspost to my LiveJournal and Dreamwidth journals from here.
